E3Expo announced that E3 2020 officially cancelled due to Covid-19 spreading risk. This means that the event won't begin on this June as previously scheduled. Instead of physical stands, companies like Xbox and Ubisoft are plans to hold digital events, although details and dates are still sparse.

According to GameSpot, E3 2020 will no longer go ahead. This marks the first time the annual event skipped a year. The cancellation of E3 2020 will have a major impact on how these companies announce and market their games.
